To remain eligible to play in our NERVA multi-day tournaments it is required that we meet the minimum number of hotel nights per team booked through Tournament Housing Bureau (THS). 10 hotel room-nights for 2-day tournaments, 15 hotel room-nights for 3-day tournaments. All reservations must be made online or by phone through THS to count towards our total. This “play and stay” requirement is waived for all tournaments that take place less than 60 miles away. (ie. Connecticut Convention Center, Springfield). If the team does not meet it’s room requirement, the team will be removed from the tournament.
The team will reserve a block of rooms available to book for each of these tournaments. You may book these by visiting the links below. If rooms are full, you may still book the same hotel through THS if rooms are available. Room availability does change so check back.
To book rooms, go to www.thsweb.com and click on “book/manage” at the top right (from a PC). Enter the associated “Parent Passcode” under “Looking to book within a Team Block?” Please book the entire duration on the room block.
If you wish to stay at another hotel or additional days, go to www.thsweb.com and click on “Book a New Reservation”, Select “Volleyball” and the associated tournament. Select your dates and room type. During the booking process you will be asked for the Organizational Info. Select “Massachusetts”, “AVA Volleyball Club”, and associated team. This must be done to count towards our “play and stay” requirement.
We understand some athletes may be staying with family nearby. We ask that you please email us if you intend to do so. Otherwise the expectation is to book hotels through THS to ensure we remain eligible for the tournament.
